This new research study is evaluating the effects of different doses of an oral investigational medication called gemcabene vs. a control on high triglyceride values.

You will receive study related care at no cost (and no insurance required).

If you are currently taking any lipid-lowering medications or supplements and are willing to refrain from taking these during the study period, you will complete up to 10 visits* and be compensated up to $500. Your participation may last up to 7 months. If you are not taking any lipid-lowering medications or supplements, you will complete up to 9 visits* and you will be compensated up to $450. Your participation may last up to 5 months.

*If you do not qualify based upon your triglyceride levels at screening visits 1 and 2, you may be allowed to complete a screening visit 3 to test your triglyceride levels again to see if you qualify.
